Purpose:

Debate teaches public speaking, argumentation, and interpretation of literature through classes and competition. The students will learn research for resolutions and bills through lecture and reading, they will find literature to interpret through dramatic and humerous interpretation, they will learn oratory through their own resources and the coaches, student congress, public forum, and extemporaneous speaking.

Meetings: Debate will meet every Thursday in room 724.

Meetings are mandatory for all debaters in accordance with their events, and general meeting mandatory for everyone.
