Congratulations to the Western Symphonic Band, Concert Chorus, and Western Singers on their performances at the 2012 District Music Performance Assessments, yesterday at Taravella and Dillard.

Chorus student conductors Melissa Montoya and Naomi Elgegren received Excellent ratings and Michelle Vega received a Superior rating.

* The Combined Choruses received an overall rating of Superior
* The Advanced Women's Chorus and Western Singers both received Straight Superior ratings and are the first choruses from Western to do so in over 5 years
* The Symphonic Band also received Straight Superior ratings
