Parent Survey
Dear Parents:
As the new Superintendent, I have received feedback from several parents and community members regarding the current state of Broward County Public Schools during my Listen Tour and various other community meetings. I would like to continue to receive input and encourage you to become involved in helping improve student achievement and performance in the District.
Each year, we conduct a survey of students, parents, and teachers. The purpose of the Eighteenth Annual Parent Survey is to measure parents’ perspective of whether schools are meeting the goals and objectives that are most important in providing students with a quality education in a safe and secure learning environment.
I am asking for your help and advice. The survey gives you an opportunity to share your views on the educational environment at your child’s school and to provide important feedback to school and District staff. Your answers to the questions on this survey will be kept confidential but will be used to improve your child’s school. Staff at your child’s school will not know how you answered the survey items.
Thank you very much for all you do to help make your child’s school a great place for learning. Together, we can make a difference for every child. For questions concerning this survey, please contact your child’s school.
Sincerely,
Robert W. Runcie
