Amir is an outstanding student and leader at Western High School. With a GPA of 4.95, Amir is ranked 7th in his class. In addition to his success in the classroom, Amir has demonstrated leadership that extends beyond the classroom and beyond Western High School. Amir serves as the President of HELP, Senator of National Honor Society, and Treasurer of Student Government Association.
In addition to the offices he holds in the aforementioned organizations, Amir has balanced himself through participation in a variety of sports teams and clubs. He has played soccer for Western as well as for the City of Plantation and is currently an integral member of the Volleyball team.
When he is not studying or out practicing his athletic skills, Amir volunteers at school or at various events around the county. He has participated in the Broward School Board’s Code of Conduct video, the South Florida Autism walk, and has served as a mentor for the Association of Islamic Charitable Projects. Amir is a fine example of a student who is dedicated to his studies, his community and his school. Congratulations, Amir!
