The Democracy in Action Initiative is a program that engages students in the political process and allows them to propose legislation at the State level. State Rep. Ari Porth and State Sen. Eleanor Sobel are giving up one of their five bills to students of Broward County Public Schools.

Our bill is called the Fair Access to Voting Bill which would grant voting rights to ex-felons who have been rehabilitated through the penal system.
