School Tardy Policy

Students that arrive to school after the final bell at 7:30 am are required to report to Student Affairs. They will be issued a white pass instructing them to report to class if the absence is excused. If a student arrives to school late and the tardy is unexcused, they will follow the discipline plan below.

 

Tardy to Periods 2, 3, and 4

1st Tardy Students report to IS—given warning and sent back to class

2nd Tardy Students report to IS—phone call home—sent back to class

3rd Tardy Students report to IS—assigned after-school detention—sent back to class

4th Tardy Students report to IS—assigned Saturday detention—sent back to class

5th Tardy 1 day if Internal Suspension for defiance—parent conference

Each student is required to be in class when the final bell rings. Failure to comply with this policy will result in the student reporting to the IS room (202). The Internal Suspension teacher will assign each student the appropriate consequence according to the tardy policy.
