Western's Academy of Finance presented a check to the Muscular Dystrophy Association's "Stride & Ride" for $7,000.

We had over 100 Western students attend the presentation and particpate in the ceremonial walk that was held at the Aventura Mall on Sunday morning. The total money raised from schools and families throughout Broward and Dade counties was over $41,000. And, for the second year in a row, Western HIgh School was the largest contributor.
We had great student support for this worthy cause, and as such, the MDA's "Srtide & Ride" can continue to count on future support from Western High School.
