Congratulations to Mrs. Leaf and Mrs. Fritz who were named recent winners of the "My Teacher Rocks" contest sponsored by Panera Bread through Teen Link magazine.

These two outstanding teachers were nominated by students, and their talents are described by the students in the October and December issues of Teen Link magazine.

Mrs. Leaf is quoted in the article as stating to her students, " Today you will need a pencil, your calculator, knowledge and a good attitude! Get those things!" And from that moment, the class begins and so, everyday without fail, does the learning.

Mrs. Fritz is described in the article as a teacher who, "..., taught me how to read and write in a whole new way. Books became more than a plot and some words; they became a maze of style and meaning. Because of her, I have a higher appreciation of literature."
