In 1976, Cooper City players bought a red pig and named him "BIG RED." BIG RED became the official mascot of the team. The Cooper City vs. Western game is fondly called the HOG BOWL.

This year the drama club got students to put money into a jar to raise funds. The teacher with the most money at the end of the contest had to kiss our cute little pig.
