Mr. Bonnett, our Drama teacher, will be directing and choreographing at one of the most prestigious theatre camps in the United States in upstate New York

This Summer, Western's Drama teacher, Daniel Bonnett, will be directing and choreographing at one of the most prestigious theatre camps in the United States in upstate New York. Broadway Directors, Choreographers, Producers and Actors work at this camp and it is affiliated with the American Theatre Wing which is best known for creating the Tony Awards for Broadway. He will be directing and choreographing a show for their second session from July 12 - August 2nd. Former students include: Zach Braff from NBC's "Scrubs" Natalie Portman "Star Wars: Episodes 1, 2, 3" Jon Cryer from CBS "Two and a Half Men" Mandy Moore singer/actress and Robert Downey, Jr. For more information, visit their website at www.stagedoormanor.com.

Additionally, he has written an original interactive Karaoke Musical (much like Tony and Tina's Wedding and The Awesome 80's Prom currently playing Off Broadway) and will be conducting a play reading in May with the producers at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Ft. Lauderdale for consideration as a produciton in their upcoming 2009-2010 season. If chosen, he will be the resident playwright for the fifth largest Regional Theater Managing Company in the United States during their 2009-2010 theatre season.
