Summer AP Cal BC  Assignments for 2009-2010 School Year

Students are to complete problems 4-6 inclusive of the Free Response sections of the Advanced Placement Calculus AB exams for the opening day of school. Questions can be found at www.collegeboard.org under exams for AP Calculus AB.

Assignment for Mr. De Salazar's AP Cal AB class:

Students are responsible for knowing the domain and range of all the 6 trigonometric functions,  the double angle formulas for the sine and cosine functions, the graphs of the six trigonometric functions with their corresponding periods, the 3 Pythagorean Identities, and how to solve equations with two variables with two unknowns using the Elimination or Substitution Methods. Students are also responsible for knowing the values of the six trigonometric functions on the unit circle.Students will take a test on these topics in Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, and Geometry on the first day of class.
