Interact Club

Club Sponsor: Mr. Joseph Franco

A student organization sponsored by the Rotary of Weston. Students take charge in benefitting the community through various service projects in and out of school. This club offers a great chance for any student to actively participate in activities for fellowship.

Meetings are held in room 1118 the first and third Wednesday of every month.

Interact News:

This month some fifteen Interact students joined together to help others in the school, namely the E.S.E department (who sometimes lack peer interaction), with our annual �13 books before Halloween�. Currently Interact members have read or have assisted in reading eleven books, well on schedule for the ghoulish holiday. Additionally the Interact students have made cards, banners and signs to celebrate Halloween.

Next month Interact members will volunteer their time by interacting with the Harvest Drive, a canned-good collection for Thanksgiving and the holiday season. As always the Interact club will have its next meeting Wednesday, (October 17) in room 1118, with Mr. Franco
