GREETINGS STUDENTS, PARENTS, AND GUARDIANS!!

Each year, public school students in grades 3-10 are required to participate in a special state-wide assessment, the FCAT, or the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test. Our 9th graders, 10th graders, and select 11th and 12th grade students will be administered the FCAT beginning on Tuesday, March 4th. We have provided the schedule for your review.

Here are a few suggestions to help ensure a successful test week for your student:

" Get a good night's rest for the next several days of testing

" Eat a well-balanced breakfast each morning

" Avoid stress as much as possible

Throughout the year, we have prepared our students for this assessment. We are hopeful that each will meet with success! While we use FCAT results for student placement and course development, the test has even more importance for our 10th graders&emdash;FCAT is a graduation requirement for each 10th grade student.

Please retain the following testing schedule, and remember to contact our guidance office if you have any questions or concerns regarding FCAT.
